Wrackmoor

A persistent world of floating shelves that sink under the weight of what you build. Claim ground, found a guild, craft, trade, and dig down through every layer the world has buried.

A held shelf, and below the water line, the one before it.

Nothing here is destroyed. Things are buried.

Wrackmoor is a multiplayer world of floating landmasses called shelves. They surface, are settled, and sink: slowly, permanently, and with a paper trail.

Build, and weigh it

Every structure you raise adds load to the shelf beneath it. Load is set against the shelf's void, and the ratio is posted where everyone can read it.

The map is the record. What a guild builds, it also sinks.

Survey notice, Drayhurst

Load
160
Effective void
6500
Ratio
0.0246

The Chronicle publishes the figure. It is not required to interpret it, and does not.

Claim ground, together or alone

Survey a district, contest it under the five-mark survey, and found a guild or join one. Officers post a muster; members sign on to hold the ground.

Claims change hands on the record, and the Chronicle reports the changes that matter.

Delve the Under

Sunken shelves stay intact beneath the world, in order, under pressure. Go down organised or alone. To dig is to travel backward.

Exhibits

Captured from the current build. Nothing in these exhibits is a mock-up.

A session runs ten to thirty minutes

The shelf keeps its own hours.

  1. On return Read the Chronicle. It has recorded what changed.
  2. Then File a claim, raise a structure, gather or craft.
  3. If time allows Post to the Exchange, or join a delve.
  4. While away Nothing punishes absence. Musters let a guild commit to holding ground.

The Playtest

Access is requested through Steam. Sign-in is your Steam account; no separate registration.

  2. Request access to the Playtest.
  3. When access is granted, the Playtest appears in your library.

This is an early build. Systems are incomplete, figures will be rebalanced, and screens will change before release. The world is online only; there is no offline mode.
